Cost
To determine what the cost will be, we must comb through the hair and evaluate how badly the lice have taken hold and therefore how long the treatment will take and how much product will be needed.
After your consultation, I will give you a written estimate so you will know the total cost in advance of treatment. An average treatment takes about an hour and a half.
We are now a tax exempt 501(C)(3) organization and charge fees on a sliding-scale chart based on income and family size. If you feel you qualify for discounted services, please let us know.

If the estimated cost is more than you wish to pay, you can lower the cost significantly by doing some of the treatment yourself. You can remove as many lice as you choose to remove. If you decide to return to us, we will determine how bad the infestation is that still remains and give you another estimate.
WARNING: We strongly feel you should NOT use over-the-counter lice-removal chemicals. We feel there are too many safety questions about them, and also, head lice have become resistant to many of them. We feel normal hair conditioners and manual removal is the only safe way to deal with head lice. Please do your own research and consult your doctor for advice.
