Appointments

Please call 530-921-5280 to make an appointment We are available week days and evenings as well as weekends.

As you know, the economy is rotten right now and we are doing our best to cut expenses, so our phone now goes to Michelle's place. Don't be surprised and hang up when you hear a greeting that sounds like a home rather than a business!

If you get a message rather than Michelle, she is probably with a client, so just leave her a voice mail and she'll get back to you as soon as she can

If you have several members in your household, we encourage all of you to be screened. It makes sense to schedule everyone with lice to be treated at the same appointment. With a bit of planning this way, you will all be lice-free and no one will pass any lice on to the recently-treated persons.

We do not treat anyone with open sores on the head. If open sores are present we recommend the client see a doctor to get the sores cleared up. After the sores heal and the scalp is clear, we will be glad to remove any nits and lice.

If you make an appointment, please remember it.

Now I know why my doctor calls me the day before my appointments with a reminder: if people aren't available as scheduled, the day gets kinks in it.

When you make an appointment, I will ask you for a way to contact you about 20 minutes before your scheduled time. I will need to talk to you to confirm that you remember your appointment. If you need to cancel, please let me know a day in advance of the appointment.

What to do at home
(from Lice Aren't So Nice) in 'For Kids'  link)

Vacuuming the carpets, upholstery, and car seats will take care of any lice that fell off before treatment. Combs, brushes, and hair accessories need to be soaked in hot water, washed with medicated shampoo, or thrown away.
